Our outpatient treatment program offers evidence-based, personalized care for women with substance use disorders. As one of the few family-centered treatment providers designed for women in the Milwaukee area, we offer services that support the individual, her children, and her loved ones, because when women heal, families and communities grow stronger.

MENTAL HEALTH & SUBSTANCE USE SERVICES

  • Individual therapy with licensed clinicians

  • Evidence-based group therapy, including Seeking Safety, Women’s Way Through the 12 Steps, DBT Skills, and more

  • Process groups that foster sharing, healthy coping strategies, and peer support

  • Recovery management services to build life skills and connect with resources

  • Education groups, which detail the ways in which chemical dependence effects women, their children, and their relationships

  • Weekly urinalysis testing

  • Nicotine cessation for smoking, vaping, and other means of use. Meta House maintains a nicotine-free campus.

CHILD & fAMILY SERVICES

  • On-site childcare during treatment

  • Family services to strengthen relationships and support healing

  • Parenting education to help women (re)build bonds with their children

ADDITIONAL SUPPORTIVE SERVICES

  • Case management to navigate housing, healthcare, and benefits

  • Workforce development & education support to promote long-term stability

  • Peer support from individuals with lived experience

Meta House accepts Medicaid, CCS, county funding, private pay, and some commercial insurance.
