Meaningful Results
Meta House’s commitment to accountability is evidenced by its investment in a comprehensive evaluation infrastructure. The organization has four full-time staff positions that are dedicated solely to program evaluation. In addition, to assure integrity of results, Meta House contracts with the Planning Council for Health and Human Services as an external evaluation consultant.
In 2010:
- Meta House Served 326 women (38 of whom were pregnant) and 325 children.
- Meta House facilitated over 2,000 supervised visits with children who were not in their mothers care
Residential:
- 84% of clients who stayed in residential treatment for at least 15 days completed treatment, compared to a national average of 39%
- Average length of stay in Residential Treatment:
- Meta House: 125 days
- National Average: 88 days
- Wisconsin Average: 41 days
Outpatient:
- Average length of stay in Outpatient Treatment:
- Meta House: 179 days
- National Average: 79 days
- Wisconsin Average: 89 days
