THANK YOU!

Thank you to all who attended A Day for Meta House on
December 5th! Because of you and our table captains, we were able to raise approximately $82,000. Our goal was to generate $75,000 in funds supporting the operations of the agency. This is money that is critical to our work. THANK YOU!

This year’s theme was From Homeless to Hopeful: Finding Refuge in Recovery. The goal was to raise awareness about the overlapping conditions of homelessness and substance abuse. Many of the women who come to Meta House live in poverty and are homeless. Learn more about their stories. Watch our event video.

Meta House Mission Statement

Meta House is dedicated to helping women reclaim their lives from the effects of substance abuse. Through advocacy, treatment and other services that meet the unique needs of women, they gain the hope and confidence to change.

Meta House is a nationally recognized treatment center that has been providing alcohol and other drug abuse treatment services designed specifically for women since 1963. Meta House recognizes the unique needs of women who are addicted to substances. We know that women are likely to have become addicted in response to the pain of traumatic life experiences. We also know that women succeed in treatment when they have a healing environment that understands the importance of their roles in society. Because motherhood is such a valued and important role for women, Meta House provides comprehensive services to their children and helps mothers repair their relationships with their children. This knowledge informs our mission, our philosophy and our treatment of women in recovery.
